Balkrishna Industries Partners Pirelli For 50:50 PCR Tyre Venture

Company entered Framework, Offtake and Service agreements with Pirelli Tyre S.p.A. for 50:50 India JV to make PCR tyres, JV by Dec 2030 with new plant; interim offtake from Bhuj plant. First major PCR tie-up after small domestic TBR and 2W start; advances passenger-car scale-up with assured offtake and Pirelli testing support for BKT brand. JV agreement yet to be signed, plant new; offtake till Dec 2031 or till JV meets demand; volumes, capex and fees undisclosed; 5-year lock-in and India exclusivity apply.
