Galaxy Supermarket Faces ₹51 Lakh Tax Recovery And Bank Lien

Banks have marked a lien on Galaxy Supermarket’s accounts following an Assistant Collector notice seeking recovery of ₹51.20 lakh plus interest in commercial tax dues from FY2009–11. The company had received no recent departmental communication and is examining the matter, obtaining legal advice, and considering further action.
