Hindustan Aeronautics Signs Final Safran Contract For Aravalli Engine Development

HAL and Safran signed a final contract through SAFHAL to design, develop, manufacture and support the 3,500–4,000 shp Aravalli helicopter engine, selected for HAL’s IMRH and naval DBMRH platforms. The programme marks Safran’s first co-development in this engine class and could support future civil applications.
