MTNL Reports ₹9,575 Crore Bank Defaults And ₹37,396 Crore Debt

MTNL reported bank-loan defaults totaling Rs9,574.61 crore as of July 31, 2026, including Rs7,794.34 crore principal and Rs1,780.27 crore overdue interest. Total financial indebtedness stood at Rs37,396 crore, worsening its severe liquidity and solvency risk.
