Zydus Completes Saroglitazar MASH Phase IIb Trial, Meets Primary Endpoint

Zydus reported positive topline Phase II(b) EVIDENCES-X results for Saroglitazar in MASH: the 189-patient trial met its primary endpoint, achieving a 26.5% treatment difference for steatohepatitis resolution without worsening fibrosis. Saroglitazar remains investigational for MASH in the US and Europe.
