Voltas Approves Atomberg Joint Venture For Room Air Conditioner Compressors

Voltas approved a binding term sheet with Atomberg Innovation to establish an equal-shareholding Indian joint venture for developing, manufacturing and commercializing room-air-conditioner compressors. The venture aims to build indigenous technology, strengthen supply-chain resilience, increase localization and reduce dependence on concentrated global sources; definitive agreements and approvals remain pending.
